We would like to thank Dr. Mark Schuller, Professor of Anthropology and Nonprofit and NGO Studies at Northern Illinois University, for a thought-provoking discussion on the pressing challenges currently facing humanity, and what a proactive response to defend our society should look like. Dr. Schuller presents anthropolitics, a system which centers the marginalized and recognizes that specific local struggles are all connected through manifestations of global capitalism. Change requires solidarity across these different contexts, and the belief that another world is possible. We look forward to reading Dr. Schuller’s future work on this timely issue!
