Not a Moment but a Movement: The Case for Transitional Justice in the U.S.

Lab Director, Kelebogile Zvobgo co-authored an article in Ms. Magazine on the necessity of transitional justice in the United States.

Drawing on their research, Zvobgo and coauthor, Colleen Murphy of the University of Illinois College of Law, discuss what transitional justice can look like in a U.S. context. They also highlight the importance of engaging with groups with different types of expertise in the adoption, design, and delivery of transitional justice measures like truth commissions, notably affected communities, activists, practitioners, and scholars.
